There are times in our lives where we experience stress, trauma and grief. We might notice that these experiences show up as having a significant impact on our mind and body. Each one of us have experiences that can feel heavy and difficult to process and can result in feeling alone, overwhelmed and unsure where to turn.
My goal in therapy is to reserve a space where you can come and put yourself first. I provide therapy that is respectful, present, and encouraging of giving yourself permission to unpack the heaviness and reconnect with the strengths inside of you. Each of you have your own unique story. I am trained and experienced in a wide variety of modalities to treat trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief, emotional issues, stress management, parenting challenges, etc. so that together we can lean into your story. Combining your own strengths and building new healthy coping skills, to make positive changes and become the best version of yourself.
I have a masters in Social Work degree and 15 years of experience working with children/youth and their families. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), etc. I would be honored to have the opportunity to walk beside you through a piece of your life’s journey.
