Elm Grove Centre is set up to support you by offering the service of direct billing to clients of insurance companies that enable the direct billing process from counselling providers. For example, we are set up to provide direct billing through : Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), NIHB (Non Insured Health Benefits), Medavie Blue Cross, Green Shield, Canada Life, Chamber of Commerce, RWAM and insurance companies through the Telus Health portal.

Professional receipts are provided to facilitate reimbursement for clients that are required by their insurance provider to submit the claim on their own, such as Sun Life, etc. Please inquire with us if you do not see your insurance provider on the list and it will be our pleasure to explore how we can assist you.

 

If you have extended health insurance, please note the importance to verify with your insurance provider coverage availability. For people who are connecting with our services through self pay, please note that our provided statements for social work services at Elm Grove Centre can be utilized for health tax purposes as an eligible Medical Expense Tax Credit (METC).
