Monique Perry - R.S.W., M.S.W.
Unique experiences shape who we are. At times, these experiences, such as trauma, stress and grief can feel overwhelming. Therapy is a safe place where individuals are invited to explore emotional difficulties and life stressors. My goal is to focus on your well-being, effective coping skills and elaborate on your strengths. There is a great reward when we spend time working on creating the best version of ourselves.
I am a Registered Social Worker with my Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of Calgary. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), & Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). My years of experience as a Social Worker have allowed me the opportunity to work with individuals, families and groups, with a focus on adults and older adults. I am looking forward to building a therapeutic relationship and offer support as you enhance your strengths and resiliencies to continue your journey.
